+1 - and there is nothing that that increases hp that is cheap. Think about it, if there were - wouldn't everyone have one?
Dennis,
A few helpful notes. First, use the search function. Each of these items has been discussed ad nauseum. Second, you get what you pay for. Third, here are your best bets for performance upgrades that actually work based on actual work and testing done by people on these forums:
New Intake KKM or similar
New Exhaust
SCT with some custom tunes
Other forum members have done more such as limited slip differentials, turbo chargers and one supercharger.
And finally, remember you purchased a Lincoln not a Mustang. The sooner you accept your car for what it is the happier you will be.
The fan spins because the incoming air runs into the blades and has to push them out of the way to get to the engine. It doesn't have a motor to spin the blades and push the air. This means friction (despite the frictionless ball bearings they mention on the website). Friction means restriction which means less airflow getting to your engine. It can't do anything but hurt your cars performance and your wallet.
You bet your ass it works! I actually took it a step further and put two in each exhaust pipe facing backwards as well as three in my intake. The only problem was my engine was moving so much air that it couldn't get enough fuel so I had to buy 8 of these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Linc...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item25596d50dc.
At that point my car had so much un-tuned horsepower that I decided to really up the ante and get myself this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/A-PE...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item4a9f837a3c so that I could "Supercharge my cars horsepower!"
Then I ran into cooling issues so I bought these to cool it down under the hood and so I could officially say I had Ram Air: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/UNIV...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item3caa985924

I then fab'ed this up to come out of the hood between them:

Then I then bought a few of these just to let everyone know what they were messing with:

I bolted all of this on in a week and half and had it rear end dynoed to 836hp which translates to approximately 1,068 rwhp due to my magnetically tuned drive shaft. I also get about 250 mpg but that's really of no concern to me at this point. Oh yeah I also forgot I do have a flux capacitor mod as well.
haha, post some pictures of that hp monster.
