Summer Wheels on !!

I put my eight spoke chrome wheels on today ! They look sweet. Hlaf way home it start raining of course. I thought I'd get away without rain today. it even got sunny when I pulled into Tire City. They did a great job and they gave me the best price out of several tire companies. NTB quoted $140. TD was $90 and a few others were in between. Tire City took my old tires off the rims put them onto the 8 spokes w new valve stems and balanced then mounted back on ! All for $50. Plus tax , only cause I couldn't think of a good enough excuse to have it exempt for manufacturing. . The two guys that were doing all this also come to my shop about three times a month for repairs on all our trailer and equipment tires so I'm sure it helped to have an account there for the past 10 to 15. Years. One of them had always complimented me on my gen I and apparently hadn't seen my gen II yet ! He says to me , ohhh new shiney paint and new wheels ?! So as you all know , I got to tell my new cars life story and the old cars death. They're good people over there and I like to spend my money at places like that. I know it'll be done right and they won't drop the wheels or scratch the paint or even jack the car up NOT under the jack marks I don't know what this one guy was under on my Hyundai but it wasn't where it was supposed to be and I freaked out and left. Never went back. But anyway here's a pic ! What do you guys think ?

I can't really make a decision yet considering I haven't seen them all shiny on a sunny day. Ill judge then ! But as of today I love them for stock wheels they look DANG good ! I'm sure ill like them even more when I wash , clay bar,polish and wax the paint. When everything is shiny !

Looks clean. I think I prefer the 06 chrome 5 spokes over these, but these are very classy wheels as well.

I disagree, I like the 8 spokes, even better I like the 7 spokes that are in 8 spoke format. This wheel looks really good when shiny.

Looks great, Short! A little tint in the windows will help accent the paint and bring out the chrome in the wheels as well.

I couldn't agree more. With a proper cleaning and polishing the 8 spokes really pop, especially on a black LS with the sharp contrast between the body and wheels

The best stock setup with the 8 spokes I have seen is fbird18's old ls.

SCORE!! I took my CCL class today , alllllll day but it was a day well spent. So now I can pack Heat and stuff . Lol. I got several compliments from other people who were there for the class. I loved every minute of it ! I definitely like the 8 spokes better than the 5s. I LOVE the 7 spokes and I would have rather had those b/c they don't have the little square cut out at the top of each spoke but I love these just the same. So its Al good
