Summer wheels back on and first proper wash!

Thought I'd share some pictures of the car, just finished washing and waxing and put the wheels back on. Its been super nice in MI so I could enjoy doing it. Since last summer I have tinted the windows and used plasti-dip on the grille and rear surround. Let me know what you think. Pictures are in order of my progress. btw pictures were taken with my iphone 4s, very impressed for a phone lol

The day I got it.

Before winter
Got rid of the chrome stickers on the grille, tinted the headlights/tails/side markers, and eyebrows

Thanks! I'm considering having them powder coated, have a buddy that works at a powder coat place and he told me 30 bucks a wheel. Just not to sure about the color choice..

Yea I know, its 4% all around nothing on the windshield. I try to be as careful as I can and not do anything stupid to draw more attention. Haven't had any issues in my area with the cops. My dad got nailed one time a few years ago and that was only because he was speeding.

I kinda want an LS lol. Yours is freshhh. If i had a LS, it would have to be the V8 and black on black. Damn i really want one!
 
Hey, the car is looking really good!!! Makes me really want to get mine back out of storage. I need to do some work to mine though LOL


Hopefully the car is running good for you, Keep in touch this summer and we will have to get outr cars together for some photos!

Theyre great cars.

Dont have to worry about air ride. Aftermarket is more limited but the mods out there make it look/run great.

I want one, i'd have to really think about it. I got a black on black V8 right now :) Idk i just love the way the LS looks, especially the front shot posted in this thread

Yeah i know they're good cars, atleast there's an aftermarket for them lol. I mean for the mark viii you got lincoln motorsport, scp, and a few places that make rims for our marks. I've seen a million LS's on here with a million different rims lol. I'd be happy with black on black LS, V8, exhaust, wheels, smoked taillights, color matched chrome surround and a k&n intake
 
Looking good JD. You need to have your powdercoating buddy do that intake black for you. I had mine done when I had it and it looked alot cleaner. Also your wheels would look good in a dark gray or gun metal, hell even hyper black too.

Thanks Jason, be cool to get the cars together for some pics, maybe a good calendar pic. I just put a ton of work into it the past few week. I'd say I'm close to having the entire suspension rebuilt now lol there always something that needs fixed on it... you know how that is. Keep in touch man.

Thanks! Hmm.. never considered painting the intake thats a good thought. You have any pictures? Still have to think about the color, I was thinking of doing a gloss black and keep the polished lip but yet I'm not so sure... gun metal would look good. I have to take them up to Traverse City to get done and hes sneaking them in after shop hours lol... as soon as I get the time.

95....ever think about getting one of the heatshields Hite337 made and sells for our Gen 1's? They are very good quality and sounds really good with the aftermarket air intakes like you have.
 
Looks good JD. Those wheels were really nice last summer when I saw them at Toledo.

Any plans for this summer?

That's how I got my intake powdercoated for free. My little brother did it after hours.

Looks real good. Is it lowered? Needs to be a bit lower and will be even nicer.
