the other night, i jumped on the highway and put the petal to the floor, i got up to about 120mph, and then coasted at about 100-105 for 1/4 of a mile. when i got home, (2 min from highway) i noticed a "rotton egg" smell, kinda like sulfer. then i also noticed little "popping" sounds coming from under the car. i always hear the sound after my dad comes home from driving his bronco but i NEVER herd it on the lincoln. what is it? and is this bad?

yay, i was scared for a minute. i hardly ever run the car hard so i didnt know if i pushed it too far! thanks for clearing that up :)

Try and watch the language in the tech forums. The lounge and anything goes are the places for more "liberal" vocab.

Sorry for the "confusion", we have a lounge over on another forum that I'm on. I guess you could change that to "The Bar" for the gold members. Either way, we don't need the language.

I totally agree with you Mike 100%, we don't need the language!!!!

If the car has a few miles on it, it could never hurt. After a while, the sensors lose sensitivity, and mileage can suffer a bit.
