Finally got this air ride taken care of. Lowered cut one ring off the back coils and 1.5 rings off the front. It just floats down the highway, and i have yet to find any clearance issues with it. Be sure to check out the mirror picture.

And for those of you who look at this, the car has all of the sudden starting very very rough. Thinking that the fuel filter is clogged because if I give it gas after it starts it runs just fine. I did run seafoam through it but haven't changed the fuel filters yet. It needs a torque converter sense it has a shudder in the transmission, Ive asked about that here before but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. Cats are clogged as well. I know this car has alot of problems but I recently got promoted at work so the extra money will come in handy.

Thanks for looking and all the help guys, sorry for the novel and bad pictures.

Any codes reading when performing a diagnostic?

Cylinder bank one rich cylinder bank 2 lean, it will seem to switch sometimes. I may have read it wrong. Auto guy said oxygen sensors might be bad sense both of them freak out when the codes are ran.

Sounds like a pair of slow O2s there with the codes. As for the starting you could have a bad IAC.

There is so much wrong with this car it seems like. I have no clue where to start. I'll run the codes again on friday, I still need to clean the MAF.

Well in search of fixing was is wrong, I would trust the codes and go from there. But one item that is bad could cause multiple wrongs. So pay attention to the codes and what they mean and see what if anything could cause more than one issue.

The car has 186,000 miles I just hope I can bring her back to life and keep it running really well for the next several years. If not looks like Ill put a new engine in it in a few years. Is there more than one MAF or is the only one inside the airbox behind the airfilter?

If memory serves the car does not use O2 during the first minute or so of opperation.

so that pretty much rules out the o2 sensors then. What about the TPS would that cause it to barely start?

It could but so could a weak pump or clogged fuel filter. If the filter has not been changed before then do that first.
A dirty throttle body is also something to check.

I cleaned the throttle body once it was solid black in there. Ill do that again on friday, I was thinking it was a fuel filter because I don't know when the car had a tune up last. I put new plugs in it recently though

for a crappy start, i would check fuel stuff. fuel pressure, fuel filter, etc. my bro's sho has a hard start and i know for a fact its the fuel pressure regulator. those little buggers are pricey on that dumb yamaha. sheesh.

I like the mirror pic. How did you get that done?

It is a decal. you put on with a hair dryer and a credit card to get them done, ordered it off the internet, i bought some for my friends corvette also his have the corvette logo on them and say the same thing.

Ah, I totally missed that, I was wondering what was so special with the mirror shot. I assumed the warning was the usual objects in mirror appear closer than they really are instead of losing. Pretty cool!!!!!

lol yea sorry the pics are bad, especially the mirror one its hard to read. I had to buy them because most people don't realize how much power these cars really have unless they owned one
