Stt

yup gen 2. You're 02?

Its OG buddy,.... 00.:D Unfortunately,.....:shifty:

But I did get all the bugs out quick and had them taken care of the right way. The first time,.... the only time!

wow, looks real nice. Quick question, so for a better take off of the line on sst, I need to press down 3/4sh but not slam it? Slammed it once and it seemed slow and lagged a little to respond

turn off your traction control. it will apply the rear brakes (if it senses tire spin) and retard the timing of the engine if is senses a engine torque surge...

It could also just be the slow shift from second to first.

It starts in second, you floor it, then it has to downshift. You are probably just referring to the lag time.

Gen II starts in first.

Yeah prob traction. Forgot to do that. So even with traction control off, the ls wont make the tires spin on take off unless you're pressing the brake and gas right

also if you hold on to the brake as you get the rpm's up a little it helps with that lag of slamming it

It still bogs you down a bit with this car. There is no point in that since the sweat spot is around 1/4-1/2, at least for me.

I brought my car up to about 1800rpm before launching yesterday. It put me back in the seat nicely :D

But that's with a 1st gear launch, and no traction issues.
