Strange Message on Display

I just got a message on my display that said "CIRCLE SLOWLY TO CAL"
Does anyone know what this means?

yeah, circle slowly to calibrate. definatly compus.

mine is like that because of the magnets on my subs. i have to relocate the compass module somewhere...lol

I have 2 12's in my trunk and have no problem with the magnets. Kinda wierd.

That's because you have a 96, in 95 they put the compass module up by the rear view mirror. If you have a 93(like Joey), or a 94(like me) the module is one the rack where the amp is in the trunk. Right above where the subs are, which pulls it out of whack. I've got one 10, and I had it on the drivers side forever and my compass never worked. So one day I decided to move it to the passenger side and now my compass works again. w00t!
