where is and how big is the stock sub in a 97 mark viii lsc??

Mine didnt come with a stock sub.

There is no stock sub in any Mark. The premium system added tweeters and such, but thats all.

the only thing it came with are little 5x7 speakers, 4 of them, and if it has jbl, it also has 4 tweeters, sounds pretty good doesnt it!!! you want a sub in it your only choice is after market, no sub in any mark VIII ever.

our navigator had a stock 8 inch sub and amp in the right rear corner, yes, lots of cars come with stock subs, just not the marks!!

Ok. It sounds good I just thought their was a stock sub in the trunk somewhere since it had the jbl system in it. Thanks for the info.

I had an A4 as a rental and it had a center channel and a suck. Amazing for a stock system.

Acutally I thought the rear 6.5" speakers have a lo-pass filter acting as subs,

Fade your speakers completely to the rear to see what Im talking about.

you could get a JBL sub on the Super Coupe....... not the greatest thing ever from what ive read, but still, i wonder why it wasnt thrown in on the Mark VIII along with the 4 speakers/4 tweeters, that would have been nice.......for a stock system, its damn good, just a little more bass would have been nice.

a single 10" is probably all im gonna add to mine, already got a kenwood headunit.
