I know it must be on the forum somewhere but I did about 3 searches and went 5+ pages in. Anyone know the weight of the stock 10 spoke(not chrome)?

take it off your car then put it on scale.

I know this tread is long dead but as just a followup on the weight of the 10spoke non-chrome rims since it was not very clear... i weighed it with two different scales(one digital and one analog) and it ranged from 21.5-22.5lbs. I don't know if it's the correct procedure to weight them on the same scale as is intended for humans but it seems pretty straight forward. Anyway 21.5-22.5 is very heavy for a 16" rim. Cut to a 15-17lb rim to save 24lbs in rotational weight and unsprung weight imo. I've heard the lincoln ls rims are about 17lbs.... but i don't exactly know.

Yes, they will fit, but wrong offset, so most likely tire rub will occur.

It could've been just me, but I noticed more then 2lbs difference between my chrome 20 spokes and chrome 10 spokes. If it really was only 2lbs then that's the heaviest 2lb difference eva..

I'm currently running aluminum Mark VIII mini spares up front. I'm going to paint them Silver Frost to match my car. Each one of those wheels I can pick up with one finger. I'm still using the stock 16" wheels on the back. I was running steelie minis up front last year when I ran my best time, and each one of those wheels with a 215 tire weighed as much as my full size 16" Mark VIII 10-spokes with 255s on the back. Be glad it's not 16" steelies on these cars or they would weight A LOT more. :D

Here is an interesting read for you:

A smaller footprint up front and lighter wheel will make a difference with your rollout, which theoretically should net you a better 60' time and slightly better e/ts.
