Is it me or is my power steering feel like driving a truck. No groaning or squeeling or loss of fluid. It has always been a bit stiff but it feels worse recently. Is there any way to have it a bit easier to turn? Flush sytem etc.?

Kinda sounds like your rack isn't working. Steering shouldn't be stiff at all.

Alignment will cause your steering to be stiff. If i remember correctly it's the caster adjustment. Instead of replacing parts or flushing which may cause other issues. Does this car have caster adjustment?

My beautiful wife calls me from work about 4 months ago & tells me the steering is hard... I tell her to come straight home(she works 4 minutes from home)! The driver's side front tire was sitting on 15lbs of air! It had a slow leak from the air valve.

It could be a few things. Mine is stiff as well. I am hoping its not a rack and just ball joint binding because its creaking like hell. But it could be in the rack, weak power steering pump, and if these cars have a U-Joint in the steering shaft it could be binding. My steering wheel always doesn't return to the center after a turn

they have a rag joint that a lot of guys on here have replaced with a metal universial joint a lot better than the rag if you drive in the winter the rag joint is subject to detreation. have a compedent mech look at it for you.

You guys realize caster is what determines how easily the steering wheel straightens going in a straight line after you make a turn? That adjustment can dramatically change steering feel. If you replace all these parts you're gonna need and alignment so get a lifetime one before and if it doesn't fix it then move into the more expensive repairs.
