I am planning on doing some stereo work on the LS now. I want a double din navigation/dvd/cd/tv tuner all the bells and whistles. I am also going to have tv's put in the headrests. I already had the subs and the loud as hell system. I sold that setup an want something a bit more grown-up (yeah I said it)...:D
So I know some of you guys have these setups and just wanted some inside opinions on which way to go and what to look out for. I also want to be able to still use my steering wheel controls. I know from the other posts this isn't really a problem. Just a bit more money no problem. any opinons and info will be greatly appreciated.

You can, and by all means I still would, but I have a baby son comin in a few weeks and me and the wife both agreed it was time to part with the loud part. So now I am just going for the nice looking part.

Posted a million times I know but the Eclipse AVN 5495 is an amazing unit IMHO. Pricey but worth it. My steering wheel controls still work except instead of the radio statiion changer goiong to the next programmed station it actually controls the radio station frequency. Might be a setting I can change. I can use the Nav and DVD while in motion. No external DVD drive for the Navigation system. I dont care what anyone says Nav system is faster than the Kenwood and Pioneer. And it has a 30 gig hard drive you can record you music onto.

Ouch even on ebay its about 1200. You can get the pioneer for about 800 on ebay is it really worth an extra 400?

My wife bought me the Pioneer 930 BT for Christmas. It's got all the bells and whistles, Double din, touch screen, IPod, DVD, Nav, etc. I got it for $690. in Los Angeles area. I put some Diamond components on the front and some Kappa's in the back. I have an amp on the way.
