steering wheel shake

i've been noticing a bit of "shake" in the steering wheel, i usally notice this when i'm braking, and at higher speeds. seems like it's coming from the right side (got the upper ball joints, and the left lower ball joint done, and alignment)

sounds like rotors, try having the wheels balanced just to rule them out...........

maybe its just me, but if theres two, i replace both.....1 UCA bad, change both, 1 tie rod shot, replace both........

Agreed, my vote is warped rotor(s)

My first set warped and seemed to straighten themselves out a couple times. Ha.

also rotors, be sure to clean the hub and the rotors mating surface off. any sort of die grinder will do fine. the rust will shift making a vibration too

what are some good rotors (not Autozone) and brake pads, might as well do them well i'm at it

rotors are rotors doesnt matter where they come from, i use autozone rotors and autozone ceramic pads. love them.

I agree with you I replaced my rotors, because the wheel was shaking when I stopped, and used Autozone parts and all seems fine now.

Rotors are now vented so the drilled and slotted really doesn't matter. They just look nice.

Contact Steve at r1concepts and he'll set you up with a nice set. I use to have a sticky thread for these.
