Are you letting it rain on your steering wheel? I suppose that almost anything is possible, but it is far more likely that your clockspring is failing and there is no real relation to the rain.
i dont know anything about the LS but if it has a GEM module then that could be the culprit if it is truely rain thats causing the problem. the clock spring is very likely but i wouldnt think rain would affect the clock spring. i have seen windshield leak and drip down on the GEM modules and cause different electrical problems. actually was fairly common in the f150's at one time.
But my airbag light is on, and the radio control buttons have failed and just recently the horn is acting funking it takes a long time to beep. All this is the clockspring, but I don't think it has anything to do with the radio volume button, so I think its just moisture in the cabin because of the cold, or just the cold.
...
but wat if it doesnt wat to do then ...jus askin in advance
