Yes,the old links don't matter....if difficult to loosen,cut them out AFTER you have measured EXACTLY the length of total link. That's what I did and the alignment shop said they needed make no adjustments. Of course I had the weight of the car on the lower control arm each time I removed and re-installed. don-ohio
