...walking is still free

Or you could get a horse! They run on Grass

Cats stopped up? I've got a spare driver manifold if want it

Cat's are fine. Just the normal 3rd cat stench under wot. Thanks though.

So while were talking about maintainance, how long do the cv joints in the rear last?

Mine are still going strong at 142k.

P.s. Pretty sure they're called half shafts.

Do what I did when mine started stinkin'. Cut that thing off and put in an H-Pipe. You won't regret it!

15 years and 200k miles and still going strong. Not a tear in the boots, no grease leakage, no "clicking" or "clacking". I'd say they will last a pretty good while. RWD CV joints don't have to deal with the stresses of FWD joints. They only move one way, up and down. I like to spray silicone on mine every so often to keep them from dryrotting.

I rarely go wot so it doesn't bother me much. Even then it only does it sometimes.

Your solution to said issue conflicts with the title of this thread. :)

Something you may not realize...but EVERY car ever made Is a machine...and all machines will eventually need maintainance and repairs...ALL of them

I understand. It's just that i've done ALOT of maintnence and fine tuning this spring, and right when I think she's "tip-top" that's when sh!t starts actually breaking.

Luckily me selling some old parts funded 75% of what i've done this year. So it's not like it came out of my pocket presay, which makes me feel a little better.

Sold her old parts to buy different new parts..Circle of life?

Stop up in mn and ill trade you my spare steering column (needs clock spring too).

I'm going to try to take it off again this weekend after I change my rotors. Haven't messed with it since the holes stripped out 3 years ago. Now that my cs is bad I HAVE to get it off. I'll use flame this time if I have too. :gr_devil:

Same here. Except i havent driven my car in a year and a half. But was being loaned out and now is broke. Issue unkown. Sapp, ya pick up cars and tow them to the shop.

I has truck, there's not much I won't do for the right price
