I plan to make it in the FWD of Doom

I don't plan to actually compete but I will make some T&T runs just to see it go down the track. Who knows - it may surprise me!

My brother has a Mercedes that makes the weight cut. I know they'll allow it even though the event is technically for domestics but I don't know if he'll want to participate or not. It's a CL65 so it's no slouch. If the Bridgestone RE11s hook up better than the stock Pilot Sports did (and they should), it's in the 11s for sure.

I made weight and raced my stock Mercedes SL in SSHS brackets a couple years ago and did great! The more consistent times you run, the better chance you have at winning it all!

The weather is going to be perfect racing weather: dry fall air with highs in the mid 60s.

I'm not 100% sure I'll be able to make it. It's always tough for me to get any sleep and I'd have to leave home no later than 9am - a tough thing for me. Still, it's a great opportunity and I really want to go!

I should point out that the weather forecast has dropped temps by 10 degrees, so now it's looking like a pretty cold start to the day, not even making it to the 60s for a high. Still doubtful if I'll be able to make it though
