Mike, are you considering putting a cage on the car in the future or keeping it just a touch above cage territory? :)

Not to answer for him but I find it very unlikely that he will ever cage it. I have watched him build that car step by step since back in 2005-2006 and it seems he mentioned along the lines during those years that he would never cage it.

Technically its already in cage territory..he just doesn't launch it hard enough for it to "need" it..trap speeds of 121 mph should be in the low 11/high 10 second zone.

I believe you. I can see Mike being that type of guy. If he does put a cage in it though, he should give it a mirror finish like the intake and blower. :p

Yeah, I've watched the SSHS videos numerous times and noticed that he launches it off idle.

Good luck and give'em hell.

Thanks Don! Try and make it to the shootout! Just a few hundred miles down the road from you!

No sir. No plans for a cage in the near future.

Still the plan! :)

I thought about a 2 step, but since it will get the boot for no roll bar, I will continue to foot brake it and stay in the upper 11's. Here's the slips from last year's shootout - car 27

I would have an affair with that car.

 lol

If it ever does get a cage, it will be a purdy one

I wanna build a cage around the OUTSIDE of my car :P

Nice ride Mike, that thing looks awesome

We had a great time! I will post more pics and videos when I get home. It took forever to upload these three pics from my laptop via the internet from my cell phone.
