Hey guys I think we might have a problem with this date. I was at the Automation car show today and I saw a flier that some vintage thing is going to be going on on June 8th. It said it was only open to cars 1970 and earlier. Somebody should call.:(

I'll check it out. If its anything like Ford day then all are welcome just not to participate in that part of it. So Test & tune will go on as normal and that will just be going on too.

I'll find out, will be going soon.

KRYS, ILLS..... anyone wanna take my mark or LS out so both the mark and LS can be there? I'd love to be at this but can pick a car.... if it comes down to it, the LS will be my choice, but why pick?

I'm not sure if I will be able to make this date. June is a big month for me I graduate so I will be finishing all of my classes and for some reason my professers think its fun to give huge projects so I may be up to my head in that stuff.

But I will play it by ear.

LOL

The schedule used to say nothing going on that weekend.

Now it says Diesesl drags.

The calander they hand out lately says club day.

I asked the guy at the bar about the show and he didn't even realize there was one. Fumbled around and found a flier on it. I pointed out the flyer schedule that they hand out which happened to be stacked on the bar says club day.

He says theres room for all.

Like I said earlier the Ford day I went to was hardly a Ford day.

I'm assumming that cause this day has nothing going on (big drag event) they are just throwing some stuff together to get people in. I think meeting would be fine for us, after all at least one flier says its "club day". Which we are, LOL.

I guess one more phone call there to check to be sure would be safe.

Jason will let us know for sure but everything seems to be fine, hopefully.
The weather so far looks to be 80 degrees and Scattered Showers.

I also won't be able to make it to breakfast but I'll be at the track.

hmmmm.... I know there is no control over the weather, but I am seriosuly looking at weather for this. I need to drive 12 hours, so I dont want it to be rained out when I get there.

High Of 83 and 30%Chance of Rain...

Not too bad since every day on the 10 day has a chance of rain..
I think they are just covering their butts. hopefully

I'm in guys, never met any of you but ill be in the Red gen II LSC that is loud as :q

I have the oldest graduation party and won't be down. The guy with the DHS got a job after 3 years without.

Hey we ran a 14.6 @ Cordova

We have the N2O running well on the car now. We are just running it in 2nd and 3rd. We trimmed 1.5 seconds off a 0 to 80 run.

unless its raining when i get up on sun im still coming.just like one of the many times i canceled my byron meet, said rain all the way up till that morning (after it was allready canceled) and the track had maybe 6 cars there and it was a beautiful 70 degrees

If I lived as close as you do.... I'd say the same thing. Chicago is about 12-14 hours from me in NH. There are some people out there I want to see run. Still undecided about this one

Hey Chicken, you wanna meet up somewhere and do a ride up there together?

I am in Schaumburg/Nw suburbs...

Let me know if that would be cool?

ATTENTION The track is open for fun racing I just verified it.

Like I stated above since there is no "big event" for the weekend they throw various other things out ther for people to come..."Club Day" "Old Car Day...etc. Fun racing or Test and Tune what ever you want to call it is on.

I checked to see if there was any type of discount for a "Club" to come and she said NO. LOL....I tried.

I like a few others will go to this unless its absolutely going to be a complete wash out. If it starts out raining or rains over the course of the day they do various things to dry it off quick as they can to get cars running again. I have gone on days it rained and did get passes in after they dried it. If it does rain out though as in starts raining while being open for a while then no more passes are made by close as in it never stops or not in time to get her safe again then they will call it a rain day so keep your receipt as you can get in free next time you come. Kinda cool if you made some good runs then it rains out cause next time is free.

Anyway they open at 9 and go till 5.

With people traveling a fair distance is it safe to say breakfest is a waste???

We can play dinner by ear.

BTW no one asked cost, I believe its $37 or $38 for racing on the weekends...I usually go weekdays for $30.

And food there is decent if I have metioned that before.

Jason, as much as I would love to watch that ride of yours run, I will not be attending.
