Speedchip

Sure, they work for about 8 minutes. Then the ECM resets the parameters back to stock values.

I was curious about that too. (although i would NEVER buy such a thing) Any idea what it really is and how it is supposed to work? (its obviously not a chip even though its advertised as such)
I am surprised by the generally good feedback for this guy - its either the placebo effect or the fact that people dont like to admit that they got screwed! Lol.

They got screwed....

I had a friend buy one for his Eclipse.... was all excite look what I got.. only $20... It was hard trying not to laugh...

Then he put it in and nothing...

If you want more Hp it's going to cost...

As far as I can tell that's just a resistor, you're supposed to plug it into the harness that your intake air temp sensor attaches to. It makes the PCM think the air is a certain temp, and will change the air/fuel ratios accordingly (until the long term fuel trim compensates for it...)

dont even thing about wasting your money....

that guy is a huge ripofff,,,all ti is is a resistor that will through your computer in a wtf mode....
