Sound Clip - Mark VII, BBK's, 2 1/2" & Flowmaster 40's

Okay y'all...
Here's an edited recording I did a while back. (Start-up, rev, pull out, drive off.)
This is with an Auto tranny, off-road H Pipe (no cats), BBK's shorty headers, 2 1/2" pipes & Flowmaster 40's.

Basically, it sounds like a mustang with the same set up and it's fun to turn heads with.

Pay no attention to the insects screaming at evening time...lol.

Yeah ... I have the same sound too except I have high flow cats so that the car will pass PA state inspection. Shame you couldn't stand on it for a minute. I'd like to hear that. If you want to see/hear Tommy's and Mine, check out

I was like sleeping while waiting inline. There are a bajillion Mustangs there on cool Friday nights. I'm fiddling with crap and almost didn't film Tommy's launch.

Nope but he's about six or seven mods over stock including a five speed and higher gears.

Were you running bone stock against a Pontiac TransAm ?

Nope. I could have won on dial in time if I was able to tweak my timing that night after removeing my $300.00 JetChip and running faster without it. Yes, I said faster. Even with my three or four bolt ons and 15.08 breakout, I got a green light five seconds before the T-A and lost the race. Him doing 120 mph in the 1/4 had something to do with it See and hear the video again and you'll understand. I got the biggest kick out of it!

Lastly, that was the night that Tommy broke into the 13s and KatShot raced his Cadillac (directly after me).
