I listen to anything pending on the mood.

But I like to listen to film scores while driving when I wanna feel epic.

I've reached 70 years of age.

I listen to (in no particular order):

Moody Blues, Dire Straits, Pretenders, Eagles, Tears for Fears, Pink Floyd, and 50's/60's and 70's songs with some 80's thrown in.

Even "Phanthom of the Opera" and "Les Mis" get a shot every now and then.

Christmas time?

Trans Siberian Orchestra, without a doubt.

This one is pretty catchy. Listened to it today

You need to stay out of my music collection. Those are for MY use only. :D

OK

But, I forgot to include the three albums from the two "Eddie and the Cruisers" movies, the one album from "The Lost Boys" movie, and the Elvis box set "From Nashville to Memphis"with songs from the 60's when his voice really matured..

Dire Straits DVD "On the Night", a great performance.

One album I listen to a lot, and has been considered by some as one of the 500 best all time rock albums, is "Forever Changes" by Love featuring Arthur Lee.

(Full album available on YouTube.)

Anyone else have an image in their head of swerving in and out of traffic playing Black Betty by Ram Jam or Flirtin' with Disaster by Molly Hatchet?

Depends on mood and what my mix of mixed cds have. For example, coming into the Village of Almont in which I call home, I announce my arrival using the heaviest bass my mix of cd's have which frequents the rap and hip-hop genres. On long drives country or "doin' music" which I have come to call it. Doin' music being Classic Rock, I believe Whitesnake, Bon Jovi, etc. fall into that category.
