Some Sad News...

^agree'd their first offer will be ATLEAST 20% less than they are willing to pay out.

How long have you had insurance with them, and how much have you paid them "to date".

If your car is part of a policy that includes other things.. like a house..ect.
They are more likely to want to work with you and keep your business.

if it's an auto policy ONLY they may want to play hardball for a couple of innings.

Keep in mind the entire Insurance Industry took a huge hit with Ike..and they might be a little sore from the "other reamings" they've been getting, try to be gentle at first with them
If they crayfish.... stick it to them

P.S. your GF "hit her head" on the window, she really needs to get an MRI
she probably hyperextended her neck at the same time
Both of these above mentioned issues are BARGAINING CHIPS.

If the insurance company tried to stonewall or rip you off.
Tell then your GF has a sore neck and has headaches, and at THIS POINT all you want done is get your car squared away.
The longer the ins company drags this out, the longer they leave for your GF to realize she TRUELY was injured.

When Tiffany got rear ended, we used the exact scenario above to get her car fixed, to our satisfaction.. not some insurance adjusters version of "fixed".

My deductable is 500 and the buy back is $585.00.

They said the cash value was $6400.00 so i figured i owe 1800.00 and could get a new door and fender painted with the wheels fixed new tires and slight body work on the rear quarter for under 3k..

I'll see what the total loss department will say when they call me.
Ill come up with some reciepts for the stuff i have.

its at a body shop, but they are really nice and since they will do the work, im sure they wont mind it sitting there.

I might need some help tracking down some parts though guys
Car is Torreador Red 1998

Im going to need..

Drivers door complete (outside with handle)
Drivers door mirror

Im going to fix the 2 directional wheels and get 2 tires

I am so sorry to hear that. Just so you know it was your video that you posted beating the 350 that got me all fired up to fix my car up. Best of luck to you.

Damn... it looks really really rough...... but it shouldn't be much to fix it really... good chance to get some Saleens or some other bitching aftermarket wheels!

Well of coarse the plastic wrap on the door makes it look awefull! I'm not really sure why they put it on there but anyways. Maybe i will be getting some new wheels, but i really love the stock wheels. just adds to the sleeper look!;)

Notice that busch door handle in the last picture! haha

Hey if you run across a set of painted 10 spokes, grab them unless they are trashed.
I'll trade you my chrome 10 spokes for a set of painted 10 spokes.

that stuff looks good. I think M.Maker has a good car that is wrecked on the pass side. I might be getting a door, mirror, fender and headlight. Looking pretty promising. Ill let you guys know.

they have a door listed, but no price.. car-parts.com ad says to "call"

Looks like the headlight didn't get damaged!

I agree on the ten spokes... that is why I'm staying with them, grandma look, and they look good!
