But laserSVT said I put them on backwards. :D I'd assume that's the reason.;)

If those were on the sway bar backwards would be the least of your worries...
 
The one in the first pic, was that facing the bumper? If so then thats the right way and you overtightened them. If it was on the rear side then yes....

I put on some Autozone ones on backwards once and split them in 100 miles. I have also installed the Moogs the right way and split them in no time. OEM ones on the other hand have over 12k on them and are still great.
 
I'm sure he is teasing you as they are not sway bar bushings, but strut link bushings... totally different part ;)
