I have the silver carbon fiberish looking trim in my 03', and I prefer the woodgrain look that I have in my 01'. I realize the 01' won't fit, but is it easy to swap these trim pieces, or do I have to change door panels?

If I remember correctly the 00-02 models had a slightly different more "brushed" aluminum trim. I'd be willing to trade for anyone that would rather have the more sporty aluminum trim. Here's what mine looks like: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1396565075.116744.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1396565097.415276.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1396565110.914176.jpg

All the trim pieces come of fairly easy. To take the doors pieces off you have to remove the door panels to get at the back of the trim.

All 1st gens had wud (synthetic wood; otherwise known as plastic). All 2nd gens have either the black, piano trim, the trim that you have of real wood. The wood pieces are quite expensive and you would probably be better off buying one of those overlay kits.

Should wrap it with Duck Commander camo. LOL

It doesn't wrap (paint for that matter...) well because it has this damn 3D fish scale texture to it.

I really wish it was smooth, if so i would have sanded it down and gave it a sweet brushed look!
