Never thought something like this would happen in my hometown. The trial for the girl just started.

In January, two teenagers strangled a classmate in the parking lot of a Taco Bell in East Moline, Illinois in the middle of the day. After the girl was dead, they dragged the body in a tarp to a wooded area and set it on fire. After six hours, the body had not burned completely so Sarah Kolb and Cory Gregory enlisted the help of a third classmate to dismember the body, put the pieces in a garbage bag and stuff the bag in a manhole. They are slated to stand trial next month.

They cut off the head and arms and tried to hide them in Black Hawk State Park in Rock Island, IL. I believe they left the rest of the body at Sarah Kolb's grandfather's farm.

Apparently Sarah Kolb didn't really like the girl and was jealous of her. She was giving her a ride to Taco Bell for lunch, and Sarah asked the other girl for a hug, and when they hugged Sarah started pulling the other girl's hair and they got in a fight. Then I guess Sarah hit the girl in the head with something in the car and then started to strangle her.
