Even if you could. Why replace your stock system with another stock system.

NO, it will not bolt up to a Lincoln Mark VIII. And why would you think it might? The Mustang and the Mark VIII bodies have nothing in common.
You're really not going to find a compatible exhaust on the used market. There are a couple aftermarket kits available from vendors like LMS, or just buy a muffler from summit and take it to an exhaust shop. It'll cost about $300-350 to go to a 2.5" true dual system.

Sometimes the best lessons learned are the hard way...it would have been an interesting thread seeing him fabricate it to his car...next time someone asks a question with such an obvious answer let them find out the hard way. Where is Frogman when we need him?
