Well we have to slap the timing cover, water pump, all accessories, radiator, fan, belt and pulleys back on the Ranger and will finish it about 10 (damn Mitchell1 said 3.9 hours and we have about 6 in it) and then we have the Maxima thats getting a new the everything up front but after thats started I can get yours on the other lift and drop the trans out. I gotta get some proper ATF and flush out the crap in your trans too so it stops grinding. Should be able to start on your car after lunch and the clutch shouldn't take too long. Now you will have to get used to the super light flywheel I am installing too. You are gonna stall the crap out of that car ill you get used to it.

My damn Infinity sub came in and I am dying to install it but the shops too busy for me to take the time to slap it in. I needs me some boom! Stock system sounds great and is loud but with 5" stock subs it just don't have any kick. The Infinity will correct that though. :D

Bill, just remember to keep your overhead as low as possible, and you'll do just fine. You guys doing rear ends yet? I have 3.73's and a trac loc that needs to be installed this summer.

Yup. We have all the gauges and 20 ton press to install the rebuild kit and properly shim everything. Banktaculous should be coming up soon for the same setup. :)

Glad all is well down there. I am always looking forward to the updates in this thread and hearing how well things are going for you and Sapper in YOUR shop :)

Funny update. Jacksun showed up today to have his clutch done. Too bad he forgot the friction disc.

Poor Jackson, and he had to see that BMW that spanked his cobra sitting there.

I put a clutch set in my little CRX commuter years ago, super easy job. It didn't quite look right when I went to put it in but was clearly marked flywheel side on the disk. Got it all back together and the pedal was crap.. and no grip on the clutch. Pulled it out and checked it.. put it all back together; samething. Back apart she came, this time I could see the springs on the disk touching the flywheel bolt on the crank. Flipped the disk around and it was perfect. I think I had the R&R down to about 45 min, other than that I felt pretty stupid having believed what I read on the disk not once but twice know it didn't look right to begin with.
I'm glad things are going well for you Bill.

Dude that's :q:q:q:qed. Friction plate came in separate package. I put it in/on top of the box with everything else. Then dad comes through cleaning and cussing and scattered my :q:q:q:q to the for corners of our house.

Needless to say the friction plate was in its own package right beside where the other box was at.
