Shock bolt

Bottom shock bolt front suspension, got it to line up on the left side of the control arm but not the right I tried jacking it up, didn't work. Any ideas?

How far off are you.

the bolt needs to go down its a whole bolts width away.

If your worried about your alignment you can take off the rear strut rod nut to allow more movement in the lower control arm

Loosen the inner LCA adjusting bolt.

I was told you have to have both sides jacked up as level as you can get it to relieve stress on one side. I went thru this when trying to unbolt my shocks.

Yep. Both sides have to be jacked up. Or at least level with each other. The sway bar tension will throw things off if there's load on one side and not the other.
