The 1986 Ford Cobra 230ME. It actually had a 2.5L turbo I-4 with 230hp. Wish Ford would have built it. It's pretty nice looking.
Looks like they made a Cobra Probe![]()
I'll bet that little bugger would have hauled some pretty decent ass though.
Edit: I caught that ninja edit thaywood lol. Yeah, I guess under 6 seconds to 60 is moving pretty good.
Yeah me too. 0-60 in 2.6 seconds (I think it was a world record holder for a few years) ain't too shabby!! And it's 4-wheel-drive too!Rather have this mid engine Ford
I had an 87 with a 305 and t-tops, an 88 with a 350 and t-tops and lastly a 91 hardtop with 350. I dropped an LT-1 in it.
I had an 89 Firebird Formula orginal 305 TBI auto car I put an LT1/T56 in. I had a lot of fun in it at the time and suprised quite a few people. Dam ttops ALWAYS leaked though. Subframe connectors new gaskets and tons of silicone didn't help.
The car I have now but no T-tops and it's a stick. Debating on staying SBC or going BBC now?
I'd say LSX
I would do just that if this wasn't sitting in my garage waiting for me to use it
