Shifting issues 2004 LS V6

Long overdue update. The original transmission failed,it would just rev in any gear position but I could feel it attempt to move.I then replaced it with a junkyard transmission and it does the same exact
Damn thing. Along with the erratic shifting and revving up before slamming into gear,when I put it in 2 it stalls the engine as if the converter is locked up.

Well .after a few job upgrades and this 2004 LS sitting with no attention,I decided to see if I can make it work again,I don’t give up on stuff that easily.
Anyway,the fuel pump took a crap because the fuel went to shit removed both pump and the other side to find the fuel was like toilet water,cleaned it all out and it’s currently waiting for a reinstall. Then I will put it up on jacks and replace the DTR.neutral safety switch.

Ok that is what I was afraid of but I was hearing people talk about the COPs causing major issues.

The factory coils eventually go bad... causing issues with the PCM. That causes the PCM to eventually need rebuilding. That causes a relearn by the PCM to get everything back in sync.

Give it some time to settle in under normal driving conditions, so drive gently until things smooth out.

I did replace the coils and the pcm was replaced with a reman and I kept the old one with no change.
