shaking rear view mirror

what is the cure for a shaking rear view mirror. On the freeway it shakes slightly giving the impression the world is flying apart behind me.

There are two directions to attack this from.

1. Reduce the vibration - may have to road force balance the tires.

2. Tighten up the mirror - see if it's loose where it mounts to the glass, and/or either swivel joint.

I've had this before(not the LS), small vibrations from the road would always make it tilt all the way down!

I had this same thing happen in my very first car. I wouldn't say from road vibration though. I have an idea why it was... but im not to sure. had two 15s in the back. May had just been a little reason to why this happened. :wrench :wrench :wrench
