I made a mention of a meet in OH in a thread, some members showed an interest so here I am yall! Wanna whip something up and see how many members would like to get together in the buckeye state to check out each others rides, grab a bite to eat and share in the love for our fine automobiles? The weekend of Sept 23 is the anticipated date, where and what is still open for suggestions. I'd like to find a central location for all of those who commit to coming and maybe an event in that area to plan around if possible, but I will have to have fast feedback to do that, if not I will try to find a central location with an event.

So what do yall say! Letz Roll with it!! after all the fellowship I took part in Chicago at the Mid-West meet, I wanna share the love! (that is a cliche guys!).

I'm up for it......Lets get you a set of HID bulbs and ballasts, and i'll install them then. BTW...Thanks for the PM.

Hmmm..... Aniversery weekend.... Love my car.... Love LvC.... Love my Wife.....

Who would be more understanding ....

I don't think my car is ever going to take up and leave me or ask for a divorce... she'll just drop a tranny or something just to cost me a bunch of money.....

I do believe my LvC friends will always be around as long as I don't become a real @$$hole...(shut up Dave I'm not that bad). LOL If that ever happens I'll join another car site...

Wife might be a hard sell honey I'm going to Ohio for a LvC meet.... My car would be wrecked.... my computer trashed..... and I think I'd have a hard time finding my things....

But in all honesty I would have to choose my wife over my car and LvC. Sorry car and sorry LvC but it's not the damage that she would cause that I fear. It would be the hurting of the most wonderful person that I have ever met... All things happen for a purpose... I thought when my first wife left that things were pretty $hitty.. although I loved her there always seemed to be something missing... But when I met my wife and as I got to know her I never could have believe that live could be so nice.... It's been over 12 years now that I have known her and the infactuation of that initial thrill has never left... I am one real lucky man... and hope that everyone could experience what I have.... No I'm not sharing....! :bow:

I know what some of you are thinking but I'm not sure she'd go with an LvC anniversery celabration... I don't thing headlights and burn out would excite her. Although she did like meeting many of the LvC members at the Christmas Party last year, and understood why I like this site so much... I might ask if she'd like to take a road cruise but I doubt it will fly.

I'd really like to attend and probablly would if it were later in October...

I can continue to look for events on Sep 23 weekend but I came across this so I thought I owuld run it past you guys, this looks to be a lot of fun, not sure how we'd work it everyone staying somewhere, but it this event is located in Norwalk, OH (for those of us who are geographically challenged Norwalk is located at the top center of OH, blue road, to the red road and your there!) This sounds like a pretty big event so hotels may be at a premium rate - will have to call around and see, if interested.
 
hey Debi norwalk sounds great that only about an Houre from my house the way we all drive LOL probly about the same from yourse i think so i can put up some one if they need a place i have an extra bed at the house and shure mom wouldnt mind someone yousing it for the Night
but that sound great to me :)

Mespock knows it will take a lot for me to get over him not being able to come, so now I gave him another date and hope he decides to bring his wife! Gotta have mad respect for that woman! lololol

Dont' men to ride your ass, but I gotta ride your ass- now I gotta know guys so I can get stuff going one way or another (Sept or Oct date) - we can have the casual thing in sept or the races, cars, bikin contest (YES, I SAID BIKINI CONTEST!)

OK guys, I'm gettin you what me to S-can the NOPI thing and plan our own party. Cool by me, I'll put it out there for one more day and if no interest in the Oct NOPI, the party will be all LVC, (I like :)!

I want to get busy plannin, too much fun to be had! Once again, any ideas, and I do mean ANY just pass em my way (remember you can alwasy pm if you do not want to post!:)

I can't wait to meet up with yall and have a good time!

If it's in October I may be able to make it on a weekend. I am almost broke though. :rolleyes: So I would need a place to stay. :V

depending on where she planse it im gona be driving home afterwords
not staying in a hotel
so not shure if youd wana drive a few more houre after wards but i can put up 1 in my house no problem

Sergmark is in England and will let me know his druthers upon return.

I really want to make it to where we all can meet, have a good time, go party some, then crash either in Columbus (the crash spot would be my humble abode) or up there in Norwalk after the race. If there is interest in the race I will turn every rock to find reasonable rooms, heck we can double up, unless you want your own.

JUST GIVE ME A HEADS UP ON SOMETHING GUYS!!!!!! Or, I will get to decide what happens to ya all ;l) (thats my cigar - lolol)

I will check on the $ of rooms up in Norwalk, and also .....man I just cant stop thinkg about trying both, driving up there for the show and race, then all of us cruisin back- THAT WOULD BE SWEET AN HOURS DRIVE OF NOTHING BUT A LINE OF LINCOLNS, (If you know me, then you know whats on my mind!!!!) the Captial City to party and crash (I have two couches and lots of sleeping blankets and floor space!!! oh my back yard is fenced in too so you won't get lost after getting totally trashed!!!!)

One way or another or both, can you give me your two cents by this weekend!?

Looks like we will be doing the Columbus thing, I am going to see what is going on locally, everyone could meet up at Hooters on Main street (Right off hte freeway!). Every weekend there is like a mini car park show there and we could all just hook up there and chill and check out some chicken wings and boobs, I'm in it for the chicken, cars and of course you guys!.

Will work out more details, and widdle on exact date and activities - feed back has been and is appreciated guys, let me know dates which are the best!

It all depends on my work schedule on whether or not I could make it. The 24th would be better for me, but again I might have to work that day as well. The closer it gets to that day the better I will know. I am 50-50 now, 50% that I can be there, and 50% on whether or not I will hafta work that day.

Sony (where I work now) will be in full ramp up and the possibility of working 6 days from the ppl that have worked at Sony for some time say that there could be 6 day work weeks by then. It all depends on the work week and if I will be workin that day or not. But, if I am not I am there......AND.....might have the Barney Mobile back on the road by then too. :Beer

Well this is my October - First weekend is Homecoming - Need to be home I will be cruising the town with shotgun in hand making sure my daughter is safe. (this is a safe pic of my daughter and her Mustang).

Second weekend in October is my wife and mine annual B&B weekend...

We got engaged and married on this gathering. Ummm.... All though I love you all this is usually one very romantic weekend... LvC is not better than well you know what (at least not yet).

The third weekend is my step-daughter's b-day and depending upon what we plan to do, don't know if I'm free...

So that leaves the 4th weekend....or the weekend of the 22nd for us.

So I am not sure what I can do yet as to making the meet in OH... I would sure love to see you all there. I know my wife like to take road cruises and I might be able to convince her to come. All depends on her work schedule as she works every other weekend.
