It's a GEN 1 headlight:

Yeah but it's ebay so you can't really trust a picture over a description, I would send them a message to double check.
From the black band around the top back I'd say it's probably a Gen2
What makes you think it's an HID?
The HID has a diamond shaped center cover over the bulb vs a smooth half round for the halogen.
I can't tell from this picture if it's HID or Halogen.

What makes you think that I said that it was? I never said that it was a HID or Halogen.
Halogen ones are very common and cheap in comparison to the hard to find HIDs so I thought you were offering up a real find.

Hey when you get another one just let me know and I'll tell you how to make the harness that will plug directly into your car using your factory harness. I was suppose to a write up on this when I done mine but was so busy. I'm still going to it do for anyone else out there who may want to know.
