Seat Removal Q's

For removal of the front seats, the workshop manual says that the original bolts and washers can not be re-used. Why is that? Where can I find new ones?

I'm not sure why, I could make a few guesses.
I reused mine. You could put some fresh loctite on them and probably ease any worry over them coming loose later.
Ford Parts Giant and Tasca are two of the places to look for the bolts/nuts/washers.

I reused mine as well when I removed them last summer. No problems yet.

As far as SRS de-power... just pull Fuse 5 and make sure the airbag light stays on when key is at ON, then disconnect battery for at least a minute before unplugging. Reverse to re-power.. correct?

It's because you're supposed to lose the hardware when taking the seat out, but only if you do it right.
