Ok so I'm putting in angel eyes tomorrow and I'll need to perform alax7's method, but I wanted to know after I put the rvt black silicone in, how long will it take to dry. Is there any way to make it dry faster? Also, how do I make sure I'm sealing it well enough so no water can get in.

place both parts together with the screws and clamps. Apply silicone over the the seam where both parts come together, its pretty simple. It doesn't take long to dry, 2-3 hours maybe, but to be sure, leave it overnight. If you think you missed some, just add more later on.

Alax is right, it isn't bad if you cut it the way he did.

When i did my initial set, I cut all the way through and it was a b!tch getting it sealed up.

Ohhh so you seal, then put the silicone on the seem where we physically cut through?

Oh and btw do you still advise to cut the ring and spread them?

Haha bro I watched that video like 20 times. It doesn't show how to close the headlights only open. But I got the idea now

Sorry, man. Been a while since I watched the whole thing. Thought that part was in there.

I assumed sealing would be the easiest part, sorry :D.

Well if you cut exactly the way I cut, you can push the light back together and screw in the 3 screws it normall has. Assuming you still have them, screws this back in so it helps hold them back together, you can also use screws that are slightly bigger if those little ones dont tighten anymore.

I applied a bead of silicone in between the lip of the back housing and the little clear raised lip, about 1'' gap. I would then spread it out with my finger to cover both lips and try to apply some over the lip of the back housing, just a thin amount so you start from behind the lip not infront of it and seal it well. It somewhat shows it in these pics
. It looks a lot nicer with black silicone, something I will do when I get my car back.
