Actually the "smoke screen" occurs when you remove a large vacuum line like from a brake booster and pour an ounce of this in. It gets run through the intake and cleans valves..etc. HUGE SMOKESCREEN!
On the Yamaha XJ motorcycle forum this stuff is like the fountain of youth. It cleans engines up VERY WELL, improves performance and doesn't cause any negative effects. You can find threads for this on almost any auto enthusiast site. I've seen it here, on the Yamaha site, on my BMW Z3 site, and on a Mitsubishi Eclipse site. I haven't heard anything bad and lots of good. That said, I've used it in all my cars, bikes, and boats.

If you put in the crankcase just run it for about 10 minutes. Let it sit. Run it again long enough to warm up and drain well, then drain the oil and replace.
Your results will depend on how nasty your fuel system, crankcase, intake, etc are to start with. In LS's running good premium gas, and HOPEFULLY regular oil changes, I wouldn't expect miracles, but it's got to help!
