recieved a custom tune from a very trusted member today and went to put in my car, and the car accepted the tune just fine but when i went to turn the car on it would not turn over. So my question is do I have to mess with the parameters on the SCT device even more or do I just hit leave as is and just do the tune? This is my first tune so im sure im doing something wrong somewhere to make it not work so i know its my fault somewhere...any help would be gratefully appreciated!!

I had the same problem, make sure your battery has a full and good charge on it. The SCT might say its loaded but your car might not have accepted it. The SCT is plug and play, you should not mess with any of the program. Tune back to stock then go with the custom again.

yep - return it to stock and call ILLS to see if he can help.

Not sure about his tunes - but usually you don't mess with the user parameters - especially at first.

went to try the code again today after erasing the code off and then putting it back on the device again. I hooked up a battery charger to it just to make sure it doesnt die at all and now when i try to restart it after i put the code in it comes up ETC Safe Mode on. Im suppose to turn the key to were the warning lights come on right or am i turning it too far on the ignition?!?

Turn Key to the run position when prompt, but not all the way to start.

As Quick LS suggested, return to stock and contact your tuner.
