SCT 3000 tuner

My dad bought an newer F-150 and the guy included an SCT 3000 tuner with it, but now owners manual. Will this work with a 98 Mark VIII?

A tune is a tune; basic, mild or wild. Some dealers do charge more for heavily modified vehicles though.

you can get a basic/mild tune for 125 dollars ant blue oval chips. so far thats the only place ive seen that sells them. Ive heard good things about the tuner there i beleive his name is lonnie.

there are some other tuners out there too but search the forum as some end up being kind of pricks and dont really give quality tunes.

Don's prices appear to be a little more affordable. i like the fact that they sell the pro racer package for $350 dollars vs some of the places ive seen wanting 6-700.

well free is the only thing I can afford right now. I downloaded the pdf of the owners manual and saw they had tunes for the Mercury Marauder, and the Mach 1, would either one of those work on this car?
