I have always been looking for real Weld Drag Stars 15x8 with 5.5 BS for rear to replace the heavy Pacer knockoffs. Guy put these up on CL year ago. Kept emailing him every 2 months to see if he would just sell rears. NO. Bummed. My friend with 2007 GT wants some drag rims. Hmmm. I buy all 4 for 400, sell to him for 550 and swap the rear real welds for my pacers. I get 2 Weld for 100 bones! Like the light weight, get to lose 5lb tubes and rims prob 10-15 lighter each. So 40 lbs rotating weight :)
Here are all the Welds:

Here are the Pacers on Left Welds on right. See how close they look:

Were the "pacers" jegs brand? Had no idea they were heavier than the real deal..figured they were made from the same light weight aluminium

I'm not 100% sure if jegs or not. I just know mine where Pacers. They are WAY heavier then Welds. The Weld rims are hollow all inside hub and spokes. Pacer is solid. You are not going to get Weld quality from China. Only thing with Welds, I will have to install 3 inch wheel studs out back.

Oh yeah I forgot they're hollow, my dads got weld drag lites on his car and the center section of the wheel is pretty thick..
