I measured my inlet on my Paxton and it is 3 3/4 aka 3.75.
I need an elbow coming out obviously to the air filter and tubing, do I want to run aluminum elbow tubing with a coupler or a silicone elbow? I am thinking the silicone elbow would be better for install in case I am close to the fan shroud and it gives me one less connector to clamp and keep sealed.

At that point do I want to keep the tubing 3.75 or do I want to go to 4" to the air filter?

Thanks guys..

If it were me, I would use the silicone elbow and 3.75 tubing to the filter. You can still use a 4" filter with a rubber adapter at the end of the tube to make it 4" OD to fit the filter neck.

You won't gain anything by going 4" from the filter to the 3.75" inlet. If you have 'packaging' constraints to worry about, stay with 3.75" from filter to inlet.

Thanks, 3.75 it is.... I think I am going to run the lightning MAF I have as a suck through for my first swing at this.

Any tips on inlet routing?
