Well guys. Its been fun Im soon to be a ex-lincoln owner.. Tranny came in today from LKQ.. Putting it in tomorrow night after work at my local body shop (where I work) ..

If you didnt know what happened basically my Tranny went out on me at Near Exact after it rolled over to 133,000 Miles.. Yeah Coincidence I think not! My lincoln sadly hates me I feel. Well my Friend who has the 99 Miata is going to most likley trade me Thursday or Friday .. Will be signing the title over to him and he as well with his. Little does he know the horrors of this car

The lincoln still needs

Secondary Timing Chain Tensioner.
Sway Bar Bushing
Windsheild
New Brakes and Rotors
Among with some cooling problems that I noticed started to arise again.

The miata needs..

Tail Light ( Due to exhaust burning it )
Rear Bumper reflector
Paint on front right fender..

and only has about 98k miles on it.

I think its a decent trade for me..

Travis... that's a mighty fine looking white LS you have there! I wish you could keep it (at least trade for a newer LS). Your LS seems so much nicer than the Miata. Miata's are cool looking though. But I like your LS better, and it seems to be in nice shape. Best to you, good luck.

Maybe your car hates you for GLUING WORDS TO THE DASHBOARD. And if you think a Miata is just magically going to never give you expensive problems ever, you are sadly mistaken... And how the hell does a TAILPIPE burna tail light lens?! Sounds fishy to me... Be wary of cars that owners have done their own mods to out of their garage.

Best of luck! More fuel efficient,yes. But definitely a step down.

I hope he keeps it and fixes it up
so i'll have another fellow LS'er in my town to meet.
But if he wants to sell it, I'd rather much have it and keep real good care of it
then some guy who will prolly trash it and part it out for parts.

I would rather part out as much as I can and get some money to put up for a different car than drive a miata. You would be surprised at what people are paying for interior parts on ebay. There are a lot of hard to find discontinued parts, and being that his car is in good condition, he might stand to make some good cash. And honestly, why save it?

Mine is less than 250 but I pay more to pay it off quickly.

It's only been a year and it's near halfway paid off and it's a 5 year loan. So paid off in two years is pretty good I think.
