I had this trip planned for a while and was getting the car ready for it. Changed plugs, valve cover gaskets and a new fuel pump.

We went up to Montreal first for a concert, stayed there for a night. Drive through Adirondacks is beautiful as always. Ive done this drive a few times and its always rewarding.
Next day we drove down to NH and drove up Mt.Washington. For those who have never done it, I highly recommended it. The drive and the views are breath taking. Its an 8 mile drive on a very narrow road and most of the times I was in 1st or second gear. On the way back the only way to come down is in 1st gear. I was surprised that 1st gear held the car at 2500 rpm and would not go higher no matter what on the down hill.
Later on we camped out in white mountain region. Hung out next day rafting, did a small hike and then hit the road.

Portland ME was the next destination. Small town, great seafood, lobster rolls were best I ever had. But the town was too small and we decided to take rt 1 or 1a down the coast line. Great views, amazing real estate, nice little towns to stop by have a snack or just go around shops or just take pics.
Last stop was in Hampton NH. Stayed for a night, partied a bit and called it a night at 11.

This is where the fun ends, because the next morning, July 4th I got in the car and the brake pedal went through the floor. Somehow, overnight the ABS block blew a plug and was leaking fluid.
I somehow found a Monroe muffler or some place like that that was actually open and after they got the car on the lift, they pointed out the problem and sent me out on the road with no brakes. Long story short, I made it back safely somehow and the car is in the garage with its old unit out, I found a 97 part which turned out to be not the same. I found another parts car in NJ and will have to go tomorrow to take that unit out (fun).

Overall, 1200 miles, 260 of which where not too pleasant drive back home.

Enjoy the pics.

Thank you.

I hardly used brakes on the way down from the mountain, was in 1st gear.

And I drove another 300 miles from there. I guess I am lucky this happened while the car was parked and not on the road.
