I have 4 new airbags on a gen 2 pearl white Mark.:) time to get some rims. i want some 5 spoke 20" or 22" chrome or alloy rims. i have seen 22's on Mark VIII's before. i just need to know do they rub or making turns a problem.

To start expect everyone to say "just get 18's" "ill never go with anything bigger than 18".... any way outta the 2 go 20". depending on the rim it wont look to bad, the 20s i had on my 94 looked pretty good, everyone thought they were 18's too lol, except the D-Bag that said " OH $HIT SON IS DAY TWENNYFOOS??!" but i think he was zooted... post up a couple links to rims your choosen between and everyone will help ya decide ;)

well i dont have a lsc so the accents around the car is chrome lol. but i do want to be different and get some alloys

I have 20s. They look fine and the boat still rides better than my roommates Benz. The tires determine ride more than the rim size. You can put crap tires on a stock rim and have a crap ride. Or get good tires on an 18 or 20 and have a better ride.

id get 20s... my 18s look too small to me on my car from some angles and I hate big wheels on cars....

20's

20s on a 245/35/20 is nearly identical in diameter to the stock 225/60/16s. as long as they are the correct width and offset you will not have any problems with rubbing.

My 20's on my 94 rode better than my snowflakes with...... dont remember what tire was on there

Oh Doc you old Cowboy ... LOL ... you getting the family ready to head out on the old Oregon Trail ... you watch out for those Injin's I heard the French are payin' for scalps again ...

Show off the wagon wheels LOL ...

18's are the biggest I'd go ...

I see a lot of cars running on some wild @ss wagon wheels when I go to the cities ... I just don't see the point .. but I guess to each their own ...

just make sure you get a good tire and you'll be fine either way

i have some 22 inch gianna blitz on my mark with a positive offset of 38. and they are 8.5 inches wide. they ride great. better than my stock 10 spokes believe it or not. but it takes more effort to parrallel park, my speedometer is off by about 3 miles per hour, and watching out for potholes and car jackers is a bitch

if you get some flashy rims i would suggest geting a blackjax anti car jacking module from Clifford to your car alarm. With the blackjax system you have a small keypad in your car that you enter a code on when ever you start your car and when ever the doors open. if you dont enter that code it will kill the engine and cut the sirens on, after about 500 feet.

I also vote for 18s as the biggest wheels on a mark
anything bigger there is just not enough sidewall

you can fit a 40 series tire on a 20 on the mark with a 245 width if your willing to have your speedometer off a little bit

i had 225/35/19's and it rode like complete horse sh!t (bent wheels ect). Put on some 235/45/19 perelli rosso's and it was a heck of alot better..depending if your lowered or not, if you go 20's def dont get 35 series tires.

im lowered and dont have any issues with the new tire size. rims are 19x8.5 with a 47 offset but required a 8 mm spacer.
