Restraint System Light?

For some odd reason my restraint system light is on(steadily). 2000 model LS w/v8. I've seen it go away briefly at times but more often than not for the last 2 weeks it's been on. Any one experience anything similar and what are the thoughts toward pulling the fuse and putting it right back in to reset it?
