Just a few shots from this morning's EuroSunday Fresno event. The guys with the Ferraris and Lambos must have been on vacation. Oh, well. At least there was a tasty Jaguar XKRS (and a really tasty Mark VIII) . The car looked great and the guys said I had the cleanest engine there . And we're apparently not alone when it comes to having problems with scarce parts 'cause the guy parked next to me in the ZR1 was fishing all over the U.S. for things Chevy no longer produces, too. He told me he couldn't clean his engine because the starter was in the center of the engine down low and that if he got water on it, it shorted. Nice feature!!!!!

Ha ha!! I thought that, too, about 'EuroSunday' but they welcome all car enthusiasts. It's a good thing because it woulda been pretty sparse otherwise.

And, as to the gold package, that will probably happen. I hated it when I first saw it. The only good news is that there isn't much of it, but I'd have to find all the taillight badging in great shape and that may be tough. I will keep an eye out, though.

One of the F150s was just there as advertisement for a gym in the same lot. It was kinda retarded parked in the middle of all of our stuff, but oh well. I think the other F150 is some kinda high dollar off-road gizmo with photon torpedos or something. At least it was black .

Just debadge the neon..I think it looks 1000x better with no lettering on there..to me it just seems out of place on an LSC when everything else is color keyed (minus the window trim) and there are little Chrome letters that stick out like a soar thumb. I've seen a few black 2nd gen LSCs with no lettering on the neon and I think it looks really clean.

Good idea! The lettering on the light is like a wider black background with gold lettering. It's quite a bit bigger than just plain chrome. Now, if I can just get Geno to send me some CobraStar center caps...

Can't remember who it was, but someone on here put a cobrastar where the Lincoln emblem is above the lock. Looked nice

That was 97markja I think he had to heavily customize the rear neon trim to do it though.

I had to sell it due to health problems. been REAL sick with chronic pancreatitis, I've nearly died 4 times this year and I can't drive anymore.

The letters are on with a mild adhesive, a strong fingernail can pluck them right off, then simply wipe the lenses with some quick detailer- job done

I had to sell it due to health problems. been REAL sick with chronic pancreatitis, I've nearly died 4 times this year and I can't drive anymore.

Yeah, they will usually peel off w/ your fingernail. I sprayed on some "Goo Gone", let it sit then peeled them away. Spray some more on as neccessary to get the remainder off. Really easy and cleans up the neon.

The wheels had too much runout and never balanced correctly, also got sick of the steering wheel wobble so I ditched them last fall. Got good money for them though seeing as how they were junk. I was upfront about the condition, buyer didn't seem to care.

Man, your car is so SWEET, sbcaprice305!!!!!!! I've never seen that color look so awesome. Seriously. The neon looks super clean without the badging, too. Would be easier to clean; would look less like a Porteguee owned it (affectionately, of course! I live in the middle of Portuguese farmer central); would seriously confuse the masses; would no longer match my blingy black and gold crystal license plate frame. :shifty: So it's down to the fact that I bought some black with gold inlay x-toe boots, a black and gold purse, and have black and gold rockstar nails. Decisions, decisions!!! At least it's an easy one and nobody will get hurt or pieved!

I put a stick on Cobra Star emblem on the trunk lock cover on my first generation. I like all the factory emblems removed from the tail lights.
