Are there inner and outer pads? I haven't done this in a while. Both pads look the same. Also what grease do you use on the caliper / rotor slide bolts? Is there some kind of special like silicone or bearing grease?
My last Mark had squeel tabs. For our cars the pads are the same, doesn't matter which one you use for inner or outter
This is not the case for brake pads with a thickness warning indicator (squeel tab)

If the anti rattle clips are fine and the dust boots are fine there is no need to buy new ones. Thats how Just Brakes makes all their money.
Make sure Oreillys has a good bit on their machine. Just had my Jar rotors turned there and just averted disaster cause the manager noticed on the first pass that the bit was dull.
I have yet to ever use that paste and have yet to hear someone complain. Now I make sure the hardware is still good and I try to get them to buy ceramic pads so that has a lot to do with it. Metallic pads make noise and dust. I prefer spending a couple extra bucks so the wheels stay clean and I dont hear squeels.I almost forgot do I need to put on the back of the pads the anti squeal paste? Looks like the backs of the pads are open to the air?
Just grease the bolts.Okay 1 more question, when greasing the caliper bolts do I want the grease under where the rubber covers go on?
