remote stop working

i was using the remote to lock my car and 1 press locks it 2nd locks and blows horn well it lock but didnt blow the horn so i went back to check it and first press work but second didnt cause doors were locked and then stopped working so i changed the battery still nothing ???? wtf went back in the store checked the the remote it has signal output so something with the car is not working any one have any ideas

If you have the V-8, check the set up in the message center to make sure
the lock chirp option is set to on.

it is wont lock or unlock my doors at all and better yet i have this car for two years and have used the key in the door oooppps should have checked that out cause the dont work in the door but worked the trunk so i had to crawl in there into the car ahhhh this car sometimes

Did you try another remote?

maybe you just need to reprogram the remote. Maybe it was reset when you changed the battery? idk

Not sure if you can do it yourself, but at the dealership its gonna cost you about $40
