Remote Illumination

Is there a way to easily tap into the side marker and tail light lamps to have them light up along with the interiors and puddle lights when using the remote transmitter?

I think this would be a nice touch to have these all illuminate when walking up to the car at night and clicking the remote....

Sure, but there are several areas to pull from. Keypad, remote and parking light switch.

But being that you have a Gen II, I would pull from the puddle lights with a relay. I think those light up with keypad or remote.

I would do what unity says but I would put/add some LEDs in the housings...rather than tapping into the existing bulbs.

Yup, Unity hit it on the head. If you tried to tap from the interior lights, even with a relay, if you turned on the interior lights your parking lights would light up too.
What you could do is wire the relays output and tap into the output wire on the headlight switch harness for the parking lamps. Then it would light all four corners and the neon when dissarmed.
