what are some of the gains with a generic tune of a reinhart chip. and do you need to re flash it when switching cars

The tune you will receive from Rienhart will be a modified canned tune, you supply the basic mods you have done and they basically plug in what should work.
The best real world tune is on the dyno, with someone that knows what they are doing.
IMO go with Delta Force , special forces, its affordable has allot of parameters and you can alter your tune when you need to, you can also do basic data logging. Some people have had bad luck with Delta, but I have had great customer service, support and the product works flawlessly.
It takes a little time to get right, but well worth it, my car is pretty heavily modified and it works like a dream.

some one is selling a reinhart chip that is why i'm curious about this particular chip

If the car was stock and your car is stock you will probably see some gains, but if the vehicle that the chip came out of had gears MAS other mods ect..... well you see you might have some issues because the Rienhart tune will take into account the mods. So if the car was stock it will work, probably well, Dennis uses a pretty good base file.

If its a good price go for it. Rienhart gets about $330.00 for the canned chips.
