I live in Colorado, and I was watching these car reviewers from Colorado, stating that a 6.5 second 2012 Hyundai Azera hits 60mph in over 10 seconds. A similar video showed a 5.2 second 2013 Mustang hitting 60mph in over 8 seconds. Is reduction of performance that drastic here in Colorado (or any very high altitudes)? If that's the case, then a 2012 Nissan GT-R could hit 60mph in 5 seconds!

I've never really tried with my 01' LS because of the high mileage and certain parts not functioning properly (like the transmission bogging), but a few weeks ago, it hit 60mph in over 10 seconds (that was going slightly downhill too)!

yeah, the thin air really hurts performance.
turbo charged engines, as long as they can maintain the boost, are less effected though.

Let's say I turbocharged my LS to do 0-60mph in 6.5 seconds down in California (it's a V6), then I brought it up here. Would it only knock off 2 seconds?
